Hourly Guarantee Incentives

Wheely is introducing Hourly Guarantee Incentives in select areas where passenger demand is expected to grow but is currently unpredictable. This ensures chauffeurs are rewarded for staying online in these areas, even if they receive few or no journeys. By doing so, we can improve passenger wait times and build a stronger client base.

They give you a financial safety net and reduces uncertainty: even if you don’t receive enough journeys during a timeslot, you can still earn a guaranteed minimum.

How it works

  1. Incentives are offered in specific zones and timeslots

  2. Each timeslot has a guaranteed hourly amount.

  3. To qualify:

    1. Stay online in the zone for at least the minimum required time.

    2. Maintain a 100% acceptance rate

  4. Online time counts both:

    1. Active online presence in the zone.

    2. Journey time for trips accepted while inside the zone.

    3. * Time spent on a prebook or waiting for it is not included

  5. Earnings are calculated with a top-up model:

    1. If your journey earnings are lower than the guaranteed amount, you’ll receive the difference.

    2. If your journey earnings exceed the guarantee, you simply keep your higher earnings.

FAQ

Q: Do I always get the guaranteed amount?

A: Yes, your earning will always be equal or above guaranteed amount. In case you earn less on journeys we will simply make up the difference.

Q: What happens if I earn more than the guarantee?

A: You keep your higher earnings. The guarantee only tops up when your earnings fall below it.

Q: Does time spent outside the zone count?

A: No. Only time spent online inside the defined zone or journeys accepted while in it is counted.

Q: Do prebooked journeys count?

A: No, time spent on a prebook or waiting for it does not count. However, prebooks that are distributed to you as an ASAP journey accepted inside the zone are eligible. We don’t recommend to book prebooks during hourly guarantee time slot.

Q: What counts as eligible earnings?

A: Time & distance fares, cancellation fees, and other incentives. Tips, tolls, parking, airport fees, and errands are counted on top of the guarantee.

Q: What if I miss a journey request?

A: Missing a request can make you ineligible for that incentive. The slot will disappear from your map.

Q: Can I see incentives in advance?

A: Yes. You can view today’s and upcoming week’s incentives in the app to plan your schedule.

Q: How do I know if I’ve qualified?

A: During the slot, once you’ve met the minimum requirements, the guarantee amount starts displaying. After the slot ends, you’ll see your final results in the incentive details.

Q: When do I receive the payout?

A: The top-up (if any) is added automatically to your regular weekly payout.
